Hi, I’m Megan!

I’m the Founder and Chief Memory Creator of Cherish Tours. Cherish was born from a deep belief that travel can be transformational.

I was born and raised in Michigan, but I have been shaped by experiences in more than 45 countries. Who I am today has been molded by the places I’ve lived, the cultures I’ve encountered, and the women I’ve met along the way. Travel taught me that when women move through the world with intention, confidence, and curiosity, the ripple effects extend far beyond the journey itself.

With a background in hospitality and event planning, I design experiences that feel seamless, personal, and deeply meaningful.

Cherish isn’t just about where we go. It’s about how we travel, who we support, and the collective impact we create together.

  • I'm absolutely ecstatic to be able to support Cherish in creating more memories in Costa Rica. I'm originally from Canada, but I now call the lush landscapes of Costa Rica my home. As a dedicated mother, my journey has taken an exciting turn as my son is now grown up. With his newfound independence, I'm eager to welcome travelers and share my love for Costa Rica. My experiences in Costa Rica have helped me find a love for many different hobbies. I'm yoga certified, a mountain bike instructor, the general manager for 4-star hotel, and now your local guide to Costa Rica. I'm excited to extend a warm welcome to you on Cherish's Costa Rica trips.

  • Originally from the lively city of Las Vegas, I've now made a full-time home on our very own glamping site, a labor of love that my husband and I built from the ground up. The journey from the busy city lights to the tranquil natural retreat has been an amazing adventure. With a deep connection to our glamping site and the outdoors, I'm excited to welcome Cherish's future travelers to camp in luxury with us and introduce them to the unique experiences we've created with our own hands.

  • I am very happy to be part of Cherish team! I am based in Arusha city, a central hub for Tourism in Tanzania. As a native Tanzanian, photographer, and documentary filmmaker, I’ve spent over five years working in tourism, blending my creative eye with my deep love for nature. My background with wide knowledge of African wildlife. Tanzanian local culture and nature have a large added value in helping create unforgettable memories for all Cherish travelers and leave them dreaming of visiting Tanzania again and again. I can’t wait to share this magical corner of the world with you!
