  • You will arrive at Athens International Airport (ATH) and depart from Thessaloniki Airport (SKG).
     Cherish will coordinate group airport transfers for your arrival in Athens and departure from Thessaloniki. Once you arrive in Athens, our local team will greet you at the airport and transfer you to our first hotel located in the city center. We recommend arriving before 4:00 PM on September 20 to allow time to settle in before our group Welcome Dinner that evening.

    On departure day, we will arrange scheduled transfers to Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) for your return journey. Many travelers will connect through another European hub before continuing home.

  • We recommend checking government websites for official, up-to-date information on your entry requirements, but so that you have a general understanding of what to expect, you will need: 

    • Valid passport within at least six months of expiration

    • Return ticket to the country of origin or the next destination to visit

    • Address of the place of lodging and purpose of travel

    • US travelers do not require a tourist visa to visit Greece

    Costa Rica does NOT require any vaccinations, testing, or otherwise for entry related to Covid-19. 

    Please note, this list is geared toward US citizens traveling from the US. Travelers who hold a non-US passport should inquire further to gain more information about their own specific travel requirements.

  • This journey is designed to offer a balanced pace that blends guided experiences with time to explore on your own. Most days include a cultural excursion or guided tour in the morning or afternoon, with free time built in to relax, shop, or enjoy local cafés.

    Travelers should be comfortable with moderate walking, as many historic areas in Greece feature cobblestone streets, uneven terrain, and stairs. We’ll visit several archaeological sites and historic landmarks that may require walking and standing for periods of time. This trip is well-suited for travelers who enjoy history, culture, and immersive local experiences and who feel comfortable staying active while exploring a destination.

  • For every Cherish trip, we provide a dedicated guide to travel alongside you for the duration of the journey. Our guides help facilitate the itinerary, coordinate with local partners, and ensure every traveler has an incredible experience. That’s why we call our team Memory Creators.

    For this special Greece departure, you’ll be traveling alongside the Founders of Cherish Tours and Go Eat Give, along with expert local guides who will bring Greece’s history and culture to life throughout the journey.

  • The trip is from September 20-27, 2026 and will be offered for this one time only.

  • The cost of the trip varies depending on whether you book a shared room with a fellow Cherish traveler or a private room. The shared room price is $4,895 for the full 8-day, 7-night Greece vacation, or $5,895 for a private room with a private bathroom.​

    To reserve your spot, we require a deposit of $500 at the time of booking. Flexible payment plans are available, allowing you to divide the remaining balance into up to 5 payments leading up to the trip. The final payment is due no later than June 20, 2026.

  • This trip is expected to fill quickly. Bookings will officially open on March 16, and will be available until June 20th or until we sell out. 

    To secure your spot once booking opens, simply select your room type and submit your deposit. Because we keep our groups intentionally small, availability is limited.
