Arrivals - Day One

JUNE 13, 2025
Welcome to the charming city of Bergen, Norway. Arrive at your leisure and meet your Travel Guide at the arrivals terminal before taking the train to the center city. Check in at your city-center hotel and begin your Scandinavia Summer experience. Settle in and relax or start exploring with curated recommendations on how to explore this stunning mountain town.

Join your fellow travelers for a cocktail at a famous chocolate bar then enjoy a Welcome Dinner overlooking the fjords.

Day Two - Full Day in Bergen

JUNE 14, 2025

Start the morning with a stunning fjord cruise out in the harbor. In the afternoon, you will have time to explore the city however you prefer. Cherish has curated some optional tours including a sauna experience*, a mountain hike*, or a historic walking tour*. You can also choose to spend more time exploring your preferred parts of the city on your own with curated recommendations.

Day Three - Ferry Cruise to Denmark

JUNE 15, 2025
This is your final opportunity to enjoy the stunning surroundings of the harbor city. Enjoy walking the historic streets, take a gondola to the top of a mountain, or simply relax around town. In the afternoon, board a ferry cruise to depart for the North Seas headed towards the coast of Denmark. The group will gather together for a traditional meal onboard the ship.

Day Four - See the Sand Dunes

JUNE 16, 2025
Deboard the ferry cruise in the morning after seeing the stunning sites from the water. You will be greeted by a special local guide (our Founder's family). Join them for a tour of the largest sand dunes in Europe and a view of a stunning lighthouse. Enjoy a home-cooked picnic with traditional Danish staples before heading to Skagen. Check into our next hotel and enjoy the evening exploring the delightful seaside town.

Day Five - Seaside Luxury

JUNE 17, 2025
Start your morning with a bike tour of Skagen, visit a beach, and put your feet in the water where the North Sea meets the Baltic Sea. Today, you will also have the unique opportunity to explore the waters of the seaside town aboard a local boat. Drink wine, learn about the surrounding areas, and enjoy a fun filled afternoon aboard the boat. End today with a gorgeous sunset out on the beach and cheers to the memories you are creating.

Day Six - Heading South

JUNE 18, 2025
Wake up for one last time in the seaside surroundings. Enjoy a cozy lunch in Jutland before heading to the regional airport for a quick flight to Copenhagen. Copenhagen is Denmark's Capital and the most famous city to visit in the country. Once you've landed, take an easy train ride to central station before checking into the next hotel. End the evening with a delicious traditional Danish cooking class..

Day Seven - Exploring Copenhagen

JUNE 19, 2025
Today is your last full day of the magical trip together. Cherish has curated some group activities that you can join, including changing of the guards, lunch on Nyhavn canal, a boat tour through the canals, and a bike tour*. You can also choose to spend more time exploring your preferred parts of the city on your own with curated recommendations. End the trip in community with your newfound friends over a final meal together.

Day Eight - Departures

JUNE 20, 2025
On your last morning, feel free to take your time and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Your departure flight time is at your own leisure. Your Travel Guide will escort you back to central station to take the train to the airport with enough time prior to your flight so that you can depart without stress in time for your departure flight.

Who are the other women on the Cherish trip?

What airport do I fly in/out of?

Arrival Airport: Bergen Flesland Airport (BGO)
Our hotel in Bergen is conveniently located about 25 minutes by train from the airport. You Travel Guide will meet you at the arrival terminal and take the train with you to the station closest to our hotel in the center city. The walk from the train station to the hotel is about 5-10 minutes. We recommend arriving prior to 5:00 PM on June 13th to allow enough time to arrive prior to the first Welcome Dinner.
*Private Transfers - Private transfers are able to be booked if preferred for an additional cost.

Departure Airport: Copenhagen International Airport (CPH)

Our hotel in Copenhagen is conveniently located only minutes from Central Station. Your Travel Guide will walk with you to Central Station and purchase a train ticket for you to go to the airport in time for your departure flight. The train ride to the airport is approximately 20-25 minutes.

What are the travel requirements for entry into Denmark and Norway?

We recommend checking government websites for official, up-to-date information on your entry requirements, but so that you have a general understanding of what to expect, you will need:

Valid passport within at least six months of expiration
Return ticket to the country of origin or the next destination to visit
American travelers are only allowed in the EU for up to 90 days
Address of the place of lodging and purpose of travel.
US travelers do not require a tourist visa to visit Denmark, the Faroe Islands, or Iceland
We are closely tracking the need for an ETIAS visa and will keep our travelers updated

Denmark & Norway do NOT require any vaccinations, testing, or otherwise for entry related to Covid-19.

Please note, this list is geared toward US citizens traveling from the US. Travelers who hold a non-US passport should inquire further to gain more information about their own specific travel requirements.

What are the activities like? What should I know in advance?

Cherish Trips are for women curious about mindful and immersive travel. Our Scandinavian Summer trip is approachable for women of all ages who consider themselves to be lightly active, open-minded, and curious about culture. This trip is curated with nature, food, and history enthusiasts in mind. We have several full-group activities planned to make the most of this grand adventure. It is recommended that our travelers are able to walk for long distances. It is also recommended for our travelers to be comfortable on boats and in the outdoors.

Who is my Cherish travel guide throughout the trip?

For every Cherish trip, we provide a dedicated guide to travel alongside you for the duration of the trip. They are with you to not only facilitate the itinerary but also ensure you have an incredible travel experience. That's why we call our team "Memory Creators." They work with our local partners, tour operators, etc. to seamlessly create an impactful and memorable experience for your vacation.

The trip is from June 13-20, 2026.

How much does the trip cost? Are there payment plans available?

The cost of the trip varies depending on whether you book a shared room with a fellow Cherish traveler or a private room. The shared room price is $4,095 for the full eight-day, seven-night Scandinavia Summer vacation, or $4,995 for a private room with a private bathroom.

To reserve your space, we require a $500 deposit. We offer up to five additional payments.

When do I need to book my trip? How can I book my trip?

Trip bookings are now open for our Scandinavia Summer trip and we are accepting reservations through May 15, 2026. The trip will be from June 13-20, 2026. To book, please make your room selection (shared room vs. private) and submit a deposit.
